Notes on Nimes 0004. Les sources : NIM

Aquitan neumes on lines, using the low Sib (Gr Tollite portas). Red line for the f, yellow for the c. f, a and c are the usual clef-letters. Custos at the end of each line. Low sib also in CO Ab occultis, Exiit sermo f.e.

There are corrections in margine to the Al post Pentecosten, they tend to Cartusian use. (psalm 5, 7, 17, 30, 46, 58 etc.) See Les Sources and Hiley

Nimes 0004 gives both versions of the Gr Angelis suis on Q1.

For the text-versions of chants that use quotes from the evangelium see Grenoble 84.
(Vidimus stellam, Video caelos)

The verses to the In are abbreviated. Rare exceptions are Sicut in Adam for Int. Si enim and Angelorum for Int. Ave spes nostra. The incipits of InV are always followed by the neumed saeculorum amen, which provide a clear modal attribution. The Saeculorum amen is also found at the end of the Communio.

There are but a few Verses to the Of (Eusebii, Michael)
